Misty Tripoli

Co-creator and Creative Director of The Groove Method

imageMisty is a Nike Elite Instructor and one of the worlds most innovative and engaging fitness instructors, dance choreographers and personal trainers. After studying dance at the University of Utah, Misty brought her love of dance and her innovative approach to fitness to Los Angeles where she currently runs her own consulting company offering professional choreography, instructor training, master classes and curriculum development. Clients include Karen Voight, Guthy Renker, Les Mills/BodyJam, Nike and Apple/Itunes.

Her unique mix of fitness and dance earns constant notoriety, having been featured in Glamour, Shape, Muscle and Fitness, and Oxygen magazines, the New York Times and the Los Angeles Daily News. Misty has also been featured on Entertainment Tonight, FOX-TV’s Good Day LA, KTLA Morning News, National Enquirer TV and Lifetime Television as well as numerous Dance and Fitness Videos. Her Yoga Groove workout has been featured in Nike Towns across America and has been available on itunes since December 2006.

Mélanie Guertin

Co-creator and Director of International Development and Education

imageMélanie Guertin is a groover to the core with an M.Ed. in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. She has been able to fuse her passion for grooving with her experience and education in health promotion, fitness instructing, personal training, teaching and working with kids and high-performance athletes. As the Director of Education for The Groove Method she has developed the curriculum and international certification system to support the fast-growing methodology.  Her personal philosophy is that finding your own groove can be as simple as taking a breathe each day and embracing the amazingness that is YOU!

Mélanie facilitates the Groove Method Certification as well as the GROOVIN’ with Kids and AthleteGROOVE Enrichment workshops.
